Main Street Fairmont: Community Revitalization in Action
Ask anyone who's lived in or visited Fairmont, WV, and they'll tell you that this charming city is a lovely place for people of all ages to call home. The City of Fairmont has a rich history dating back to 1899 when it was first chartered. This enduring area still shows the hallmarks of welcoming community nicknamed The Friendly Town. However, like many towns throughout the Appalachia region, the passing of time has resulted in significant issues that present obstacles for many of Fairmont's residents. Thankfully, one community organization has committed itself to bringing new life to Fairmont.

Heritage Real Estate Grand Opening at Loft Offices & Conference Center
Buyers and sellers of Morgantown homes for sale have a wonderful new resource as Heritage Real Estate recently celebrated the grand opening of our new Morgantown office. Approximately 200 people came from as far as Wheeling and Pittsburgh to congratulate us and join in the festivities at Coopers Rock Convention Room in the Loft Office & Conference Center.

Morgantown Area Partnership Board and other city dignitaries provided the perfect ceremonial touch by officially cutting the red ribbon with a giant pair of scissors. The group also presented us with a stunning plaque welcoming Heritage Real Estate to Morgantown.

Round up the whole family and head to Marilla Park on Sunday, September 15 for the Deckers Dash 5K. Post-race activities for all ages include yoga and a 100-yard "Trout Trot" for kids ages 6 and under. Race proceeds support Friends of Deckers Creek, a non-profit organization dedicated to care and promotion of the Deckers Creek Watershed, where the race is held. Early entry fee is $30 or you can register the day of the race for $35. Check-in starts at 9 a.m. with race time at 10 a.m.
