- Community Kitchen - 247 Willey St., Morgantown
Started in 1984 by a group of Morgantown churches and synagogues, Community Kitchen is a non-denominational, non-profit organization that serves free lunches in a clean, uplifting environment. In 2017, Morgantown Community Kitchen served more than 18,000 meals to the hungry. Food is purchased from the Mountaineer Food Bank and local stores and is also donated by local restaurants, stores, and individuals. They are always in need of volunteers to pick up food donations, prepare and serve food, and clean up at the kitchen. Charitable contributions and donations of fresh food, cleaning supplies and other items such as paper products are also much appreciated.

Since 1935, the Service League has worked to improve the lives of people in the Morgantown community. They have given more than $347,000 back to charitable, educational, and cultural organizations such as Meals on Wheels, the Morgantown Public Library, and Mongolia County Schools. The oldest stone dwelling in Monongalia County, The Old Stone House is home to the Morgantown Service League's headquarters. Its gift shop features arts and crafts from West Virginia artisans and artists from around the country, books, specialty candies, and more. All sales benefit the League's community outreach services.

Compass Women's Center connects pregnant women to the resources and information they need to make informed decisions about unexpected pregnancies. Their services are free and include pregnancy testing, medical provider referrals, information about adoption, and pregnancy and parenting education.

Also known as the Campus Neighborhoods Revitalization Corporation (CNRC), Sunnyside Up is a non-profit organization that's dedicated to assisting or engaging development, design, financing, and implementation of urban use plans designed to eradicate blight, improve quality of life, and prevent a decline in the neighborhoods surrounding the West Virginia University campus. Created in October 2002 with the support of the City of Morgantown and West Virginia University, Sunnyside Up partners with other economic development groups to continue to revitalize the Sunnyside neighborhood and other areas surrounding the WVU campus.
