Our family has been hunting for a new place to call home for over 2 years now. We hated to leave our beloved Colorado but felt it was necessary. We decided to head to Texas to be closer to family and reap the benefits of a lower cost of living; we couldn't take the heat -literally! We were then in search of a place to call home. We decided to go somewhere we had never been before and just make it work! After a lot of discussion we decided upon West Virginia. Nine months ago (September 2016) I saw a house I liked online and decided to call the agent listed and get some information - that agent happened to be Heather Neill! I had never been to West Virginia before and had only researched it through the internet. I was excited to be able to come and look at the house I picked among a few others and see the area. I ordered plane tickets and called Heather only to find out the house I was interested in had an offer on it. I was pretty devastated so Heather had me to get other houses lined up that I wanted to see and she said she would spend the entire day showing me around! When I got to WV I was immediately in love with my surroundings! Heather had me meet her at her beautiful farm and drove me to a ton of houses in over 3 counties!! She accomplished this in one day! I firmly do not believe anyone else would have accommodated me like that! She puts her heart and soul into trying to help people find their home. She continued to work with me after I went back to TX and set me up with a great team of professionals who helped get our credit where it needed to be so we could get the type of home loan we wanted. In April 2017 we decided it was time to get business underway. She said it's not recommended to buy a house without seeing it in person but regardless we decided to go through with it. She jumped on board and helped us every step of the way. Heather consistently went above and beyond for our family! I feel like after our tour and this entire process I have made a true friend. God brought us together, or the universe... whatever you believe! It was meant for us to meet and be in this together. We are now in our home in our new town and are loving life more than ever. I firmly believe this could not have been done without her. Heather puts love into her work and you can feel it when you work with her. Don't miss out on it!

It's extremely hard to explain how hard if a worker heather is. I had originally met heather shopping for a home, she was the listing agent. She was very helpful and offered me excellent advice and pointed me in the right direction. A few months went by and my wife and i, had began to get things in order to sell our home. Heather was the only option due to her professionalism and upbeat personality. We contacted heather and explained that we had intended on selling our home, but wanted to buy at the same time.... little did I know just how tricky this could be. However we had heather in our corner and she kept things going perfectly. So we find a perfect home , and I reach out the heather to see if we can view it. She works that out with the other agent. My wife and view the home and decided it was perfect for us and we just had to have it. So heather begins working on the perfect deal with the sellers. Meanwhile heather had already listed our home. I have to say that she did a wonderful job. She provided us with a few pointers for home presentation prior to her photographing the home. She set up the appointment for the photos at the perfect time of day (it's those small things that truly make her an amazing agent). The pictures came out great and she sat us down; and gave us the market research on our homes value. She gave us all available pricing strategies, to help us sell while buying. This really jealous us out, Because obviously we wanted to get as much as possible, but didn't want to over price the home and end up with two mortgages. Basically the next part was amazing. She not only negotiated a amazing deal on the home we where buying , but she also found a buyer for our home. Of course there where some bumps in the road, dealing with home inspectors , appraisals and those things. But heather was on top of things and even when I was frustrated or even thinking that this was impossible to pull off. Heather was available 24/7 to help us with our issues and had some advice. I think this is what makes her the perfect agent, she knows the business and will get you though the hard parts with ease. At one point I was definitely wondering if Both a buy and a sell could line up in my favor. Frustrated I called heather we discussed the small hurdles that where slowing us down. Heather was nothing but confident that she could and would pull off a buy and a sell. Heather was able to work with my lending company, buyer and sellers to get everything on track. Fast forward to setting up closing. Heather was able to work with all parties to get the closings just one day apart. Which was a such a big deal for me. So basically what this long winded review is saying: I would recommend heather to anyone buying or selling. I would absolutely recommend family and friends to speak to heather before listing with anyone else. Heather helped us migrate one of most stressful times of home buying/selling. Heather is the ultimate professional. Two other "big name" agencies put "For Sale" signs in my yard, but Heritage marketed my home. First she took REAL photos of my house, not just cell phone snapshots. Then she posted my house on every conceivable website - and the status emails I received let me know that it was working. When an out of state buyer put an offer on my house, she followed the process and did her best to make everything flow smoothly. Through the entire sale she acted with competence, integrity and kindness. I have lived all over the country and sold several houses and Heather was, by far, the best agent I've worked with. Simply the best. We were out of town sellers and unfortunately we originally went with an agent recommended by a friend. The listing went nowhere and advice, suggestions, and communication were lacking. As soon as we turned the property over to Heather she took over, advised us what needed done and went to work to get it SOLD! It was like turning your home over to a good friend who knew just what to do. Don't hesitate to put your trust in Heritage.

My wife and I began purchasing our first home alone. We figured in this day and age why pay for a Realtor? We have the internet, all the answers seemed only a google search away, But we quickly found out that there is a lot that google cannot do for you. That is where we were just so blessed that the seller of the home we ended up purchasing had made the smart decision to hire Heather. She was so easy to work with and was always quick to reply to our questions and concerns. She was always straightforward and honest with us from start to finish and that really made a difference because, since we had never met the seller before closing, it was really her that we associated with the property; and no one wants to buy something as large and expensive as a house from anybody less than honest. She was excellent representation for the seller, and when it came to closing and we ran into issues between the appraiser and lender, it was Heather who was always on the front line fighting for both us, as the buyers, and the seller. It's easy to write a review of your Realtor on a housing transaction that has went smooth. Nothing bad to say, right? "Closed in 6 weeks, we all got our money and moved in the day of closing." But, how about our situation? We sell on Aug 5, we move to Florida and despite all of our greatest efforts to close, (not due to Heather's fault) we end up back in our house in WV worn down emotionally and financially....yet still can write a good review??!! Heather knows the real estate business. Her tenacity, honesty, professionalism and market research are second to none!! Her willingness to go above and beyond at every step during our selling process is unheard of in the industry. Our transaction was a very complicated transaction on several fronts and she steered us in the right direction every step of the way. Confirmation emails of all emailed paperwork and constant communication along the way was an everyday occurrence with Heather. Driving out to the house for a last-second water faucet and drain check before the failure of our closing (despite her not really having the time to do it)...she did it. Detail oriented and a personable demeanor while keeping a sense of humor. My only criticism, she took the sale of our house so personally and to heart, I think she was as vested in the process emotionally as we were that I don't think she'll ever be the same again. lol. In 1970 I purchased my first home through an excellent Realtor and it was a very good experience. Over the next 31 years I bought and sold several properties with Agents/Brokers that only wanted the "listing" but had no desire or ambition to work the "listing." In 2001 I listed a property with Heather which she sold almost before the ink was dry, so I listed another property with the same result. At this point I requested her to find me an investment property. Same result. As a result Heather helped me in buying and selling over $2 million of properties in 5 years. She is the hardest working Broker I have ever worked with. The only thing I regret is that she is no longer in my area to help me.
